A graduate of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, he leads the hospital's research team for the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine's Key Specialty Development Project on Tui Na Therapy for Knee Osteoarthritis in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan Period. He is one of the first cohort of National Mentors for the Academic Experience Inheritance Program of Renowned Veteran TCM Experts at Medical Massage Institutions for the Blind, Adjunct Professor at Beijing Union University and Special Education College of Changchun University, and is an Advisor to the Beijing Chronic Disease Committee.
Wang is proficient in Tui Na techniques and acupuncture & moxibustion for treating orthopedic diseases affecting the neck, shoulder, back, waist and leg pain, as well as internal diseases like headache, insomnia, dysmenorrhea, constipation, epigastric pain and chronic fatigue syndrome. With extensive clinical experience and mature diagnostic and therapeutic insights, he has developed a distinctive treatment approach. The methods such as the pressing and stretching technique, the pressing and shoulder raising technique, the finger pressing and rotating pushing technique, and the double thumb relaxation technique have collectively shaped his academic philosophy of "relaxing tendons, stretching, balancing and pressing". He has published over ten papers in core medical journals such as Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Journal of Clinical Acupuncture and Moxibustion. He has also contributed to the compilation of Medical Massage Diagnosis and Treatment Standards for the Blind and Practical Massage Manual. He served as the main speaker on CCTV's "Health Road" for massage treatment of cervical spondylosis and knee osteoarthritis.
