I. Department Introduction

The VIP Clinic serves as the premier medical service unit and international healthcare window of Beijing Massage Hospital. It integrates the hospital's formidable team of senior specialists and professors. Our physicians are highly proficient in applying a comprehensive range of TCM techniques—including specialized Tui Na, acupuncture & moxibustion, herbal medicine, physical therapy, rehabilitation exercises, pain management, nerve block techniques, and small needle-knife therapy—to treat orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and internal medicine conditions.

The VIP Clinic has been successively designated as the Apprenticeship Department for the "Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Project - Traditional Chinese Medicine Massage Therapy" and the "Beijing Tui Na International Exchange Center Clinic of Renowned Physicians."


Senior Specialist Wang Youren of the VIP Clinic has been recognized as an expert in Beijing's 6th batch of the TCM Inheritance "Double Hundred Project." The "Wang Youren Grassroots Senior TCM Practitioner Inheritance Studio" construction project was approved under Beijing's TCM Torch Inheritance "3+3" Initiative. In 2022, the "Wang Youren National Renowned Senior TCM Expert Inheritance Studio" construction project was approved. The "Shi Ruihua Grassroots TCM Practitioner Inheritance Studio" construction project under Beijing's "3+3" TCM Inheritance Program was also approved. III. Scope of Diagnosis and Treatment

Common tendon-related conditions: cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, chronic lumbar muscle strain, acute lumbar sprain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, back muscle fasciitis, L3 transverse process syndrome, scoliosis, thoracolumbar facet joint dysfunction, knee joint disease, scapulohumeral periarthritis, ankle joint injury, wrist joint injury, tennis elbow, etc. Neurological disorders: Headache, vertigo, facial nerve paralysis, post-cerebral infarction sequelae. IV. Diagnosis and Treatment Features      

(I) Characteristic Tui Na

1. TCM Orthopedic Tui Na: Utilizing the hospital's signature Tui Na techniques that integrate static pressure with dynamic manipulation, we treat tendon-related conditions such as cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, acute lumbar sprain, scapulohumeral periarthritis, and knee osteoarthritis.


2. TCM Internal Medicine Visceral Tui Na: Techniques such as pressing, kneading, grasping, pushing, abdominal vibration, and spinal column pinching are utilized to treat internal medicine conditions caused by visceral dysfunction, such as headache, dizziness, sleep disorders, type 2 diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, chronic cholecystitis, constipation, and facial nerve paralysis. These techniques also serve as adjunctive treatment for hypertension, hyperlipidemia, simple obesity, and fatty liver disease, and target preconception care for men and women, postpartum recovery, menopausal syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, and related conditions.

(II) Characteristic Acupuncture & Moxibustion

Warm acupuncture & moxibustion, abdominal acupuncture, buccal acupuncture, umbilical acupuncture, acupoint thread implantation, and bloodletting therapy are among the characteristic external treatment methods of TCM.

(III) Characteristic TCM Nursing

Characteristic TCM nursing treatments include Du moxibustion therapy, portable moxibustion, auricular therapy, tiger-talisman copper and stone needle Gua Sha, acupoint patch application, water cupping, clay balancing fire cupping, and stone needle therapy.

(IV) Characteristic Pain Management

Pain management techniques utilize small needle-knife therapy combined with nerve blockades to treat spinal conditions such as cervical spondylosis and lumbar disc herniation, as well as other acute, chronic, and intractable pain disorders.

2. Visceral Manipulation: A gentle technique applied to corresponding organs to restore their natural rhythms. It is used to treat abdominal distension, organ prolapse, dysmenorrhea, sleep disorders, and musculoskeletal issues caused by visceral dysfunction.

3. Postural Adjustment and Athletic Performance Enhancement: Through postural and movement pattern assessments, we address sports injuries, scoliosis, pelvic tilt, and post-exercise musculoskeletal pain. This approach improves joint stability, proprioception and coordination, and overall athletic performance.
