Over 40 Dutch TCM students selected by the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center completed a nearly two-week clinical observation at Beijing Massage Hospital from October 9 to 18, 2019, successfully achieving their learning objectives.
These trainees primarily focused on massage, foot therapy, and acupuncture. Their visit to China was specifically intended to study the theory and techniques of TCM acupuncture and tuina therapy, with the goal of broadening and deepening their professional skills. By offering clinical observation opportunities, Beijing Massage Hospital complemented their theoretical studies with exposure to a wide range of clinical cases and hands-on experience in acupuncture and tuina diagnosis and treatment.
Driven by their passion for TCM, these students traveled thousands of miles to study in China while continuing to participate in education programs in their home countries. They deeply cherished this learning opportunity.
Despite only two weeks, they studied diligently, asked questions eagerly, and practiced hard. Moved by the students' diligence, the clinical instructors at Beijing Massage Hospital provided extensive demonstrations of clinical treatment techniques to the students, clearly explained the underlying principles of treatment, guided students through hands-on practice, and fostered dynamic, interactive teaching that yielded gratifying results.
TCM is a vast treasure trove that can benefit anyone worldwide who values health and well-being. Its modern applications offer discerning international audiences an even more accessible pathway to understand the wisdom of TCM. Beijing Massage Hospital is committed to using its clinical resources to provide TCM enthusiasts worldwide with learning opportunities, enabling this ancient wisdom to benefit the world.
