He emphasized that this cultural exchange would further strengthen mutual understanding and trust, using TCM as a bridge to connect the hearts of the Chinese and Japanese peoples. He called for continuous innovation in cooperation models, expansion of collaborative spaces, and strengthening of partnership ties. He demonstrated basic techniques such as pushing, kneading, pressing, grasping, and rubbing, along with treatments for common conditions like cervical spondylosis, constipation, dysmenorrhea, and eye strain. Japanese participants unanimously reported that following Dr. Zhao’s self-massage guidance brought noticeable relaxation and relief, and they expressed a strong interest in learning more about TCM tuina in the future.
China and Japan, as neighboring countries separated by only a narrow strip of water, learn from each other and strengthen exchanges through the establishment of an international academic conference platform for TCM. This initiative lays a solid foundation for friendship and high-quality cooperation, promoting the internationalization of TCM in a substantive and effective manner.
